By convening in Japan, we position ourselves at the heart of these exciting developments, providing a unique opportunity to engage with and learn from a progressive top-down regulatory ecosystem for Web3 and with select leading organizations to represent this progress.
We believe this combination of historical significance, focused environment, and strategic location will contribute to a truly memorable and impactful Blockchain Infrastructure Forum 2024.
We are honored to be hosting the Blockchain Infrastructure Forum 2024 at the Windsor Hotel Toya. The choice of venue and location has been deliberate and meaningful.
Historical Significance: As the Windsor Hotel Toya previously hosted the G8 Summit, my choice in location for a meaningful venue that highlighted the significance of many of you traveling far and wide, globally for valuable discussions for the future of the Web3 industry, was relevant.
Focused: The hustle and bustle of Tokyo is alluring but distracting. Hokkaido is far enough away and offers a place of intentionality. My hope is that separation from daily distractions allows you to fully immerse yourselves in the purpose of the forum, fostering focused and productive discussions.
APAC Web3: By certain standards Japan stands at the forefront of the APAC web3 ecosystem. From its storied roots of Satoshi to meaningful top-down regulatory guidance, the country's direction makes it an ideal showcase for this industry-moving ecosystem as evidenced even by Prime Minister Fumio Kishida speaking on Japan’s Web3 presence both in 2023 and 2024.
